I work at Scott AFB and bought a house in Shiloh (turns out it probably wasn't a good 'investment', but I'm enjoying it so far).

You might have to try all of them before you actually realize what you enjoy.

I did not initially get my license to do transactions for other people (just my sons) but now that I'm in it, I very much enjoy it and I am in a fantastic firm that gives me total flexibility and freedom.

We will have another event eventually where they have to lend money for the price of a VCR, this won't be the last of the low rates we enjoyed...

I enjoy how the work takes me to different places around the city. 

I know this sounds like a dating profile but I'd really love to find some people to just hang out with and talk/learn as we enjoy company.

Back in our Day 70s 80s .. our normal spread was 4 to 6X of what we paid for it so we could afford a healthy discount and still double our money cash on cash.I still fund land flippers to this day and really enjoy it.. bought one today and got paid off on one today :)  And in a way if you really know what your doing beats buying beat up houses for many folks.

With this development added, we lose some of the rural benefits we enjoyed, add more traffic and have to deal with road and home construction for a while. 

But it will help you understand if you like this kind of investing and enjoy the underwriting and stuff.Feel free to DM and I'd be happy to share some more opinions and experiences
