Even though it is my dream cottage, I can't afford to make my dream come any quicker.I asked the REO agent if he could keep my name and notify me when the house went into foreclosure, and he said they couldn't do that.

:)Of these 2 are small seasonal cottages in Essex and are leasehold and the land must be purchased separately for ~$200K.2 are <500sqft mobile homes in Dennis that are also seasonal.1 is a 384sqft 1BR shack in some town near VT that I had never heard of, it does come with a toilet though!

If it is readily available to you, you will most likely use it in a pinch instead of buckling down and eating hot dogs, mac & cheese and ramen noodles... that is character building stuff and great stories to tell the kids and grandkids!

And I've noticed a lot of tiny homes/cottages in the Bay Area listed on AirBnB for $120/night; many of them have high occupancy.
