Towson is getting a breath of fresh air with the redevelopment of downtown Towson, and I personally believe that Towson will become the center of the entire Baltimore region in the future, simply because Baltimore City will never not be a crime infested hellhole.Anyhow, enlighten me, what say you?

As far as lending, I have had good luck with commercial loans from local/regional banks.

The other issue is that cost is very different depending on the region of the country you are in. 

Is the region growing? 

Similar to real estate, construction is very regional.

If it's cash flow, the Midwest and Southeast regions are generally the best.

@Ira JeterWhy don’t you reach out to the lender (given that it’s a smaller or regional bank) and see if they will sell you the note. 

You'll also find it is more likely that a smaller, regional bank may offer the loan that a larger institution.You also want to look at whether a pass-through entity helps your bottom line and your taxes.
