These folks also tend to have all of their income and expenses going through a separate bank account so they just need to look in that one account to get everything organized.Self Managed, High Volume, Not Organized at all - this is the type of people that stress out over tax season. 

You should find a lot of resources on BP but I think the most useful people to talk to would be MF builders and local officials in your target areas.

There are people with tons of experience.

I tell people the harder it is to zone your project, the less chance a competitor will come nearby.

@Ryan Fox - It's pretty unpredictable in my opinion, but I'm sure there are people way smarter than me that can better see/predict what's coming down the pike.  

There are some really scummy solar sales people out there that tell homeowners they can get solar “for free”.

Sometimes emails go to spam and simply some people just don't check their email religiously like the rest of us.

You'll have a property manager do the management (so you being close to it is not needed).Yes there are risks for some people to go out of state but if you learn the techniques like I have, you'll see it's actually easier and far less risky.
