It's in a nice, predominantly owner-occupied neighborhood sw of Dallas.

However, I've since moved to Dallas and am now convinced that in order to build long term wealth a focused plan towards real estate is the way to go.

I purchased a townhouse at a tax sale in Dallas County in this month sale, the house appears to not been occupied, I driven by at night and never seen any lights on, however there is a vehicle parked there at night, I searched the licence plates and belongs to the previous owner of the house.

Based on 145k assessed value; Dallas county = 2.186% = $3170yr, Ellis county = 2.339% = $3392yr.

So, though Denver is hot right now, would it hurt to look in Tucson, Dallas, San Antonio, and of the like (whatever other cities are steaming right now).

Mike I have family in Dallas and Atlanta so that is why I'm deciding between the two, but like I said I'm ready to invest so if come across any deals in DFW or Atlanta that you think i may be interested in please let me know! 

I am here in the Dallas area to help anyone who needs something I can do, and even if I can't I will still try to make it happen.
