Hey @Carey CookIf your looking to invest in johnson city, i would encourage you to come to the Tri Cities REI meetings.

Our Mayor, Bill Peduto, is spearheading/encouraging many of the infrastructural improvements such as the "Hyperloop".

For me, my accountant is a big fan and they encourage all of their business clients to use it.  

If not, you'll have to furnish it; if it is, you'll still have to replace some things and supply more.Bottom line, I'd encourage you to look at the deal very closely and make sure you have realistic expectations if you decide to move forward.  

I want this to encourage and motivate you.

But, like with the rest of society, there are outliers who cause you a bunch of problems. 

I hesitate to call the current market a bubble - there's just too much up in the air to really see what's what, and while RE is a big part of the general health and status of the economy, there are a number of other factors that determine what / when / how the correction happens.The bigger they are, the harder they fall, so unless we (collectively as a society) really have our crap together (which we don't), when we eventually do go down I think it's gonna be a doozy. 

I am new to the real estate society I've really been trying to find the right people to network with and I'm willing to pay to learn as much as I can.I have been trying to find leads through code violations but no results are there any more strategies that I need to know of?
