Hi @Kenzer Hodgson to @Sarah Kensinger's point above, I'm not a fan of so many people spreading legal advice/insight on the forums, but at least it's better than Instagram/Facebook and YouTube. 

Florida should be busy currently with people staying in the Winter to get away from the cold & snow. 

Not going to get into a discussion about people being able to do what they want in their house but in PA, recreational use is still illegal. 

People were panicking about their roofs collapsing and willing to pay almost anything to get someone up there to shovel them off.

Lots of people love the La Fortuna area. 

You'll learn what contractors are good at such repairs, and eventually people will start bringing you "problem properties" with that issue.Another related idea: contact a good local realtor and ask them if they know of any on or off market properties that would be a hard sell for most buyers. 

Your biggest resource will be from people.

If people complain about something I dont go right away.

This is probably the thing that burns out people who self-manage more than anything.2.

Have as many people you can trust give you some advise about your purchase.
