These particular chambers have about a 25 gallon storage capacity and may cycle several times disconnected...not a pretty site.

Do I need to call some gas guy to disconnect my stove/oven in order to paint the wall behind it?

we had a control on our boiler in basement that only we could access,, we disconnected the theromstat in the unit and set the boiler at the temp we wanted,, kept it at about 70.. we had a new thermostat put in the boiler room. 

I called him 6 weeks later...phone disconnected again (sigh).

I suspected the gas line was disconnected on the street. 

To include adding an outside disconnect and driving two ground rods.

@Josh Skogen   I just sold a house with a disconnected fuel oil tank,, 265 gallon..I called tank removal company.. he said about 700 bucks to remove,, some locations require a permit for removal,, If you called a company that does this they will know what's requiredNot worth the headache or mess to do .Youtube has some videos on the subject..What's worse is disclosing that you don't have the permit, signed off, and can't prove it was done properly and might have to pay for soil test if you sell ...

The symptons you are describing sound like it has lint built up inside the back of the dryer or the vent tube going out to the outside is clogged.Before I paid a service company I would pull the dryer out and disconnect the vent tube and run it on high heat.

We have had the misfortune of our pecan tree disconnecting our power line (twice), but I was still able to take a hot shower in the morning.
