Does anyone have any input on why this may not work, as it seems to not be a common thing for the banks to enforce.- I could be successful with foreclosure and end up owning the property- Since the note has reached maturity, it cannot be made to perform again by the borrower where I am stuck with it for years.

@Kim Tran There isn’t a direct equivalent to a 1031 exchange for selling an investment property to purchase a primary residence, as 1031 exchanges are strictly for like-kind investment properties.

I'm not aware of any systems that work without wifi as you'd have to have some kind of cellular reporting system like a SimpliSafe or similar.
