The best part of investing in the US is the ability to write off the majority (if not all) of your tax liability on rental properties if you have the right strategy. 

I could see them implementing it for 2024 still with the ability to depreciate the remaining basis on a property that was 80% depreciated in 2023, but it's likely a bit much to have everyone go back and correct 2023 at this point.

In general, your acquisition of properties should never outrun your ability to put aside or access comfortable reserves to maintain those properties.

But I graduated 4.0 from college and have a very good ability to make sure deadlines are hit, a good ability in learning fast, and most of all I hired a consultant to guide me every step to make sure I dont miss a thing.
