As a layperson, it would appear to me that if you were to attempt to prohibit a properly licensed medical marijuana tenant from his/her drug in any way, that would be discriminatory against a certain class of people. 

This is the 2nd time I've been laid off, and I am done with attempting to build a career in someone else's corpration.  

I now reside in a 3 bed 2 bath SFH in Broomfield CO where I am attempting to house hack by renting out 1 room and airbnb the basement after it is finished.

I own a number of other rental condos a couple of things I've learned:1) Many condo board members don't know the sky from their rear end, in terms what rules are legally enforceable2) Many condo boards attempt to enforce rules they know full well would never hold up in court.

If you now attempt deducting $1k as some "loss" - you would report $10k income while you actually collected $11k.

Or should I try a shorter term plan like grouping up with some people to do a flip or attempt to wholesale a property?
