I work just as hard on a simple 6 lot project as a 30 lot project.. but at the end of the day the 30 lot one makes significant money the 6 lot is nice.. but its basically the exact same work.I now pass on all the little 3 and 5 lot plats I see.. unless they are finished shovel ready lots.. now I focus on larger..

Jonathan, That would depend on a lot of factors, what would the scope of his job be, assuming you have a co. come and cut lawns, snow plow and put calcium down, would he fix clogged toilets, sinks, paint, change light bulbs and or fixtures, maintain the furnace if needed, shovel and salt between contractor, will he answer tenant phone calls and pass it to the PM if it's not in his job description, will he be living there ( that would be part of that persons income). i would think that if you had someone doing most of that and living there you can find someone for somewhere around $15-$20/ hour.

I would say if you are doing SEO by yourself and slowly but surely improving your ranking then it is worth it but I wouldn't shovel too much into it if you are looking for immediate results.

Also, I have been driving around neighborhoods with a different set of eyes, looking for vacant properties, for rent signs, and sidewalks not shoveled.
