I also buy a lot books using my iBooks app, it's great to have books on my phone to be able to keep notes and highlight.

If you have a copy of the lease with you, I would come to the walk through with a copy of it and a highlighter with sections he is violating highlighted, and make sure you take plenty of pictures of every violation, especially excessive dog doo in the yard and/or any damage you see due to the dogs.  

I am curious to hear the instructions others are giving the VA.Do you have them removing items from your mailing lists and trust that you're not losing good records or just have them highlighting properties that have sold in the last few months?

Its an easy read and really highlights to get you to think differently from everyone else.  

What I was trying to highlight was inventory, appreciation, days on market, and activity in our current market.

But we love the housing stock and architectural details that come with it, with the right care/attention they make solid investments...they certainly do not build them like they use to.The area you highlighted is really block by block and has also been changing demographically in recent years (less desirable lower income in my opinion).  

Going forward I would have all terms of the deal highlighted an put into agreement that everyone signs.

Instead, I'm sure it's a simple fact that people are eager to boast about their accomplishments (and rightly so) but generally adverse to highlight their shortcomings.
