While searching for other potential investment properties I came across a listing for three mobile homes, two rented and one in need of repair, sitting on two acres of land for under $80,000 here in Florida.Of course, since  I am a novice in the MHP realm, I have many questions about this and probably don’t know what questions yet to ask.

If I own a mobile home that is parked in a mobile home park in TX, do I have to pay property taxes on it?

I know I could put a mobile home on one of my properties but the cost benefit doesnt seem worth it.

@Jacob Sampson Can't speak much to mobile home parks, but storage is definitely more desirable than it used to be.

Also, this business will take work, especially when you are starting out and getting your systems in place, so keep that in mind.Some tips for finding brokers in the markets that you are looking would be to go to: Mobilehomeparkstore.com, Loopnet.com, CRExi.com and then search for mobile home parks in the area that you are interested in.

On the other end of the spectrum, if you prefer long term, lower risk, with cash flow that will weather a recession, you may want to invest in NNN or consider mobile home parks.
