Massachusetts is called Taxsachusetts for a reason, every and all activity must be taxed, any activity that isn't taxed must be labeled as illegal or bad, and therefor they must come up with a means of taxing it, even if the means is fraudulent.

Fortunately this kinda of fraud isn’t to hard to combat.

I want to be perfectly clear, I have NO intention of obtaining a loan under fraudulent conditions.

Obtaining money from investors by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises is called bank fraud.

these very same reasons have fueled the 'get rich quick' engines for centuries, if not longer. this is one of the most reliable ways to make money - promising others an effortless path to riches. how else could fraudulent schemes ever work, if not without the full cooperation of the victim - ahem, the freshly minted 'investor' or 'house hacker' or 'generational wealth builder'?

Insurance companies have gotten very good at uncovering deceitful and fraudulent claims, however they still have a long way to go and can't uncover them all. 

If so, then what was your strategy for combating this feeling? 

She refused to open the door. eventually the kids were removed when she went to jail for writing fraudulent checks and helping her boyfriend store a house full of stolen goods that the police busted inside to retrieve.
