I've been getting lots of leads from South American refugees asking if we work with the Catholic Charities Program and a few others.

I considered donating it to a local charity but seriously, I don't want to have to buy new appliances every time a tenant moves in and out.

My husband makes me happy not with expensive little shiny rocks, but with donation receipts from donating some of our stuff to charity (Goodwill).

There were about 12 contractor bags full of mannequin heads in addition to a wig dryer, 3 boxes of wigs (donated to a cancer charity), lots of carpet stains and general filth.

Yes, of course there is a cost for such, there not a charity, but for those properties seller won't take terms, and it's worth it, well it can be worth it. 

If the clothes etc are in poor condition I drop them at another charity that grinds up materials to make insulation.

Technically it is only available to people associated with the military, but back when I opened mine they let you just make a one-time charitable contribution of like $35 to an associated charity and then you qualify.

I'm not a charity - I'm trying to feed my family - and these folks have access to the same opportunities that I have, if they're willing to do the work of educating themselves.
