Before he seals it I would call him ASAP and get it blended better,, Yes stain will accept darker in areas but this clearly looks like it was lefton longer in areas or applied heavier in areas.. not blended in as well as it shouldDON'T delay.. you don't want it sealed and then you'll really have delays.
