Since the last time I  used this platform I’ve successfully purchased my first home and converted into a house hack with short term and long term rentals. 

I was wondering if i could get some testimonies and insight from people on the BiggerPockets platform to help me figure out if it is a good idea or not.

This could provide a steady stream of additional income while allowing you to stay in the home you like.Short-term rental: If renting out a room isn't feasible, you could explore the option of short-term rentals through platforms like Airbnb.

You want to have a solid listing on the platform with no preference for a tenant pool.

If there is ANY platform that would know who is motivated and who is not, it would be Facebook.

Initially, I aimed to leverage platforms like Airbnb during away series, but encountered restrictions due to the HOAs regulations, prohibiting rentals for less than 30 days.

I thought I could grow a portfolio of cash flow producing real estate in lower tier neighborhoods but after speaking with a number of people through this platform and elsewhere, its a losing proposition.
