I use a professional painter and high quality paint, and I don't want that messed up by someone's weekend project with a can of $5 Ooops paint from WalMart.I would also question the premise of your idea, namely that you could charge a premium rent by allowing something like that.  

This came from wanting to hire painters for painting the interior/exterior and doing lite remodels.

First off, you should also hire a painter because this will require some new wires to be ran, and if the existing electric panel isn't on a shared wall, or directly above or below the rooms in question, there will be holes to patch and paint.

Hi all - I was hoping to get some good local referrals for a painter and carpet installation.

I have used subs in Melbourne, so I have recommendations for a plumber, an electrician, a painter, etc.  

We have an SFR that we still rent out there and am in need of a PM to help turn our home. any help w/ a good reliable PM and painter would be greatly appreciated!!!

I will still paint, because I feel like painters cost WAY too much, but if you continue down this path it's likely that at some point it will be more worth your time to find deals and spend time with your family than get dirty and sweat.

We were to close two days ago, all conditions had been met, walk throughs performed, and at 4:30pm the day of closing the agent submitted a Notice to Cure of a trim piece on a door that the painter missed from two weeks ago or they wouldn't close.

My painters charged me $1,100 to cover up all the holes and paint the apartment. $1,200 plus materials to re-do the hardwood floors.
