We have a long term rental on the west side and just rented it within two weeks.

You will be too detached.5 is required in some states and not in others so a lot if left to your viewing on-site so if you are not seeing it in person, you need full photos and videos of every part of the basement and attic so you have an idea of where the trouble lies before making an offer.

Not to mention things like septic permits that used to take 6 to 8 weeks are coming back in 1 or 2. :-)I like it slow and steady. 

The lack of showings after two weeks just has me a little nervous.

Most of our rentals have desired move in dates of just 2 weeks out.
