No issues as of yet, although we are holding off on putting all the new appliances in until after there are no more showings.I know some investors with 160 rentals of mostly single family homes in the Chicago suburbs who don't use Rently or Showmojo, they just use mechanical lockboxes, and give out codes and tell people that the house has an alarm and cameras and if they aren't there at the right time the silent alarm will go off and cops will come.

I have had a similar issue and the best solution I could find was installing a water alarm sensor in the basement where the sewer would backup and flood.

@Sean Dolan one must be careful of companies in Utah :) lots of real estate and other type fringe operators there.number one place for the back end or support and call centers for all the TV real estate pitchmen and womenground zero for door to door alarm sales. ( very sketchy) and other things.. .so good intuition on your part.

Electrical needs to be able to handle the load from both suites.smoke alarms through the house need to be interconnected as well as the carbon monoxide alarm.Fire protection between suites and a few ceiling height restrictions.
