Ah, and how could I forget, the agent has to sign the LBP disclosure form which is required for the contract anyway so... any reputable brokers office would not release a contract to title/escrow without that form.As previous posters said, you're worrying too much.  

Personally I think this is a shady way to do business and a good way to damage a reputation.

You have to take into consideration the amount of repairs that will be needed, finding a reputable contractor, and keeping your fingers crossed that the house is not vandalized before you can get a tenant in the home, etc.   

Will suggest this to GC and see what plumber says.Lesson learned here, in a building that is 130 years old with original plumbing, make sure to budget for significant replacement.

There are many more options available and you should work with a reputable mortgage broker to specify the best option for your situation. 

IRS approved documents, document maintenance, an established history and good reputation, and experienced support are very important factors in my opinion.

If it can help me gain a Great Reputation and Close Great deals I won't hesitate to generously and fairly compensate them for that.

And as @Chris Mason mentioned, lenders are worried about being audited so if they're even mildly reputable, the charges are going to be reasonable.
