Since our house is very large, we have considered licensing it with the city as a legal Bed and Breakfast, so that is another option we are looking into if this legislation goes through.Our long term plan is to purchase rural properties (cabins) in the mountains, and rent them as short term vacation rentals.  

On top of the weekend class to "really" learn a thing or two instead of wasting your valuable time like at the meeting I was attending, they then were pitching their exclusive next tier program where you and 15-or-so others could have the distinct "privilege" of having breakfast/brunch with them and be able to talk with them for the low price of $500 or so...THEN there was their "top dog" program where you and a select few could have the great honor of becoming their padawan after you took out a 2nd mortgage on you (or your parents) house to pay $20K (or was it $50K?) 

Hotel breakfast was rarely anything to get excited about.  

Maybe do a breakfast or something.

The single family place is already zoned properly for the Chicago Bed & Breakfast license : )I'll have about $65k as a downpayment.

Most of the time I can't remember what I had for breakfast.

I don't want to give anyone false ideas hahaKoleMy motivation is that I wouldn't mind looking a one or both of these properties some time, and thought it would be a good opportunity to meet another local investor, and maybe grab some breakfast or lunch.  

BP,I met a local commercial RE investor this morning for breakfast and was intrigued.

Does anyone know if there are any  morning /breakfast real estate investor meetings in the Tacoma area?
