The crime reports are things like petty theft, domestic disturbance type things.  

You are looking for the type of calls to that area, stay away from calls like: gun shots, drugs, domestic violence, shootings, etc. 

I was wondering if anyone has had a tenant want to break their lease due to domestic violence?

I believe there was some domestic issues with them in the past, but that's before I bought the place.

@Everest JordanGood thoughts, however I don't see how most of that would directly affect our purchasing or design decisions in real estate.In my opinion, it's good to be thinking about these things, but in terms of mind-share in evaluating macro items, I'd much rather be thinking about fundamental economic indicators for an area we're investing in, or the overall domestic (US) market. 

With respect to the domestic real estate market, who in your opinion do you think would be the best candidate to help bring us out of the market meltdown and prevent a possible recession?

I received a hot lead from a motivated seller who wants out of her house for the following reasons:- Seller cannot cover mortgage alone so abusive daughter lives with seller to help pay mortgage (daughter arrested for domestic abuse)- Seller is elderly and medically disabled (low income)Any advice on how to help?
