I do wish it would have been better, but, in this climate, even that is a decent 'find' so it seems. 

Like you, we wanted the flexiblity to return to our house but we found the current climate just too unpredictable to stay with short term (Airbnb).

Hello BiggerPockets Community,I am working on a renovation project to replace a central heating plant with decentralized heating, cooling and domestic hot water and would love to hear about other people’s experience with this type of project.The building has 15 one-bedroom apartments and is located in Connecticut (climate zone 5).

An abundance of fresh water, a moderate climate, no major threats from natural desasters.

Austin's culture and climate are really biased toward growing more out of profits and conservatism, which I would also argue are more founder friendly for slicing the pie. 

I have invested in several places and found Bay Area maintenance is the lowest due to its climates.  

Moderate climate- Some snow, but most years not major.

There’s absolutely no deals in my local market on the MLS as I’m sure is the case for many many markets in this current climate, so I’m left with having to obviously search for off market deals.

@Mark AbbateWith today's political climate, just about anything runs afoul of the various Federal and State anti-discrimation laws. 

Mayberry South Dakota could remain a sleepy little town or climate change may turn it into high-demand ocean-front property in a temperate climate  ;-)My crystal ball has always been cloudy so I just try to look out 5-10 years.
