@Charles Moore - Rainier Valley has been slowly gentrifying as super-high prices in Ballard/Fremont have raised costs in the CD and Beacon Hill, which in turn has begun pushing up the cost of living in Rainier Valley.I'm betting you were in the Columbia City area?
