Honestly, I expect threats, and I suspect this is the reason why K. did everything so obvious and why nobody pressed criminal charges against her before.

There is a clause in our lease that says:"Tenant shall be responsible for all costs related to any repair or maintenance of any plumbing stoppage or slow-down caused by Tenant, whether accidental or purposeful.

My dad tired of getting 4  company leads a week.. he bought a printing press and created his own door hanger ( direct mail was too expensive) then on Sat and sun .. my brother and a few friends would pass them out.this was remember the 60s were a 8 year old could walk around in strange cities putting door hangers out..

Seems like I may strike a nerve accidentally from time to time. 

I always maintain a fund to fix damages, both accidental or negligence.

Some owners were breaking that clause, but I was not interested in pressing my luck. 

Even the selling investor seemed impressed with my ability to press on as I kept getting weird answers and rejections with regards to financing. * Shop, shop and shop.

You'd be hard pressed to get $900 for a 2BDR apt in the area.  

I had advanced 50k to the seller to pay back tax's and some pressing bills she had..
