You leave bigger tips, buy dinner for fiends, donate to charity or even start a charitable foundation to amplify your giving.

We bought a larger above ground pool this year and donated our 22' above ground pool to an STR tenant that's been renting from us for 25 months.Basically we upgrade the things in our house and donate the older stuff to rentals. 

What you are describing is not so much a tithe, more a donation of about 75%.

Also one can always get used or donated appliances from rummage yards or used appliance shops.

I also took back a bunch of returns to Fergusons  and made a run to the donation center to drop off stuff that can be recycled by others..  

I understand you maybe be in a financial situation where $500/mo doesn’t mean anything, but collet the rent and then just donate it to your favorite charity.
