I dont know how to handle the 50% here - I lost 10k as mentioned, I also have had great experience with guys that charge materials up front, delivery the materials and then balance due at the end of the job.  

When my house closing got delayed, all it cost me was an extra month storage fee (like $78/box/month) to push back the delivery until I was ready. 

Experiment with with delivery, (time of day, day of week, etc.) if you have attachments; do attachments work or should they be embedded in the email?

Pizza delivery, UBER, Turo, rent out one room, sell stuff on eBay or whatever.
