If I buy multi family comm real estate via a RE LLC company with my Roth IRA does the rent income become UBIT taxable ?  

If I invest a multifamily through a Roth IRA, will I still receive the same tax benefits as I would with personal cash when I file my tax return?

Do you invest in stocks outside of maybe a 401k/ira?

It should be noted that basis adjustment does not apply to stocks held within other Qualified Retirement vehicles like Annuities, IRAs or 401(k) accounts.

Specifically, I'm looking to use their Self-Directed IRA tool in effort to start investing in real state after retirement; Lord willing 2027. 

As mentioned above by others, cost segregation is an option.Additionally, contributing to your IRA is another option.

Is there a way to utilize part of my Traditional IRA funds as a down payment on a SFH investment property without being penalized?
