Now I know that putting a property into an LLC is generally touted as the best way to protect yourself, however I am wondering the following.If I transfer my owner occupied property into an LLC will that in any way negate the items I can deduct from my personal taxes?

I've always found it ironic that gays walk around touting their sexual preference while normal people don't go around talking constantly about their sex lives.

The result of that is that any market cap rate they tout is garbage.

I just did a google search on "buy VA escheated properties" and found various sources of information, including the state's statutes on escheated properties.There are also gurus out there touting their own systems, including tax lien and tax sales.

As an extreme example, Belize is often touted as a paradise for real estate investors - and no one mentions it's murder rate is 600% higher than the United States.

Hello, an anesthesiologist who has been passive investing in multiple real estate ventures since 2007 (way before FIRE movement, and all of those physician blogs touting real estate investing in the last 2 years).  

She sells/markets turnkey rentals for turnkey providers so she benefits by touting OOS investing and by making false claims that cash flowing in CA is impossible...even though there are several markets where it's possible to do so. 

Got my finances in order, met with my financial advisor, analysed the sh*t  out of the market.

I say this because the 'Protection' aspect touted by the LLC has never been tested in court (so i've been told by a lawyer).

You are touting a tactic and strategy not available to mom and pop investors.
