Areas I was thinking of is, Mountlake Terrace, Ballinger Lake, or Lynnwood area.That was until I kept reading and realized that mortgages have a cap, in terms of the amount of money they would be willing to loan you.

From 2008 until 2012 I ate a lot of ramen and beans and rice because that was all I could afford.

Lowlands are great for rice and soy but flooding is bad for homes.

Granted that was in a nice neighborhood (Terrace View).

Areas like Lakeland, Brandon, Temple Terrace (near the university) and Town N Country all have lower purchase prices but are up and coming in the market.

@Rob Rice, I'm sure it varies from state to state, but in some states, you can become an assistant to an agent. 

The terraced garden in the back area goes up to about 12 feet.
