The mortgage is secured by the real estate.

Hey Aaron, have you considered a commercial mortgage from a local bank like First National or Bangor Savings Bank? 

That said, with today's rates, every increment of extra mortgage is way costlier than it was four years ago during the sub-3%-rate Covid days. 

I have a 6 unit with no mortgage.

I am open to this arrangement however I want to make sure I refinance with a lender who is ok with the mortgage being assumed.
