Just requested a property management account.

Hi All, Not sure I'm posting in the right place but it says this is the Rental Property Management Forum, but it's about the business end.I'm looking for some guidance from other PMs who have created a profit sharing bonus program with their staff.

As for the rest of it, you can find a lot of useful tips on past forum posts along with podcasts and youtube material on the topic (BP and other RE sources).We've self managed STRs for a few years.

How would you suggest going about finding a deal and managing it out of state.

We have two properties in SLC area and manage from out of state.

, clear laminated instructions inside the unit, etc.Also very important to consider scale--if you are planning to have several STR's in the same area, then it's wise for you to invest time now to build your team there and manage the place without a co-host.

I am looking to connect with the investors there as the promotors are continuing to take Asset Management fees to the tune of $450K a year (on top of PM fees) even when their payout to the investors is around $20K a quarter (not meeting preferred) and the overall fund is negative about $450K.

Property managers don’t pay for problems.

I was wondering how people managed to scale their businesses faster.
