Wholesalers are USUALLY not licensed (some are, and I am not speaking to them). 

On a side note, my husband is a contractor and I am a licensed realtor in Ontario. 

Check with your state licensing board. 

During my time away, I’ve explored different brokerages to hang my license, and I’m proud to share that I’ve now opened my own firm here in the Bay Area!

It will give you their time as a licensed professional, the education they have completed for the current renewal schedule, and any disciplinary action against them.

Same applies with any other State, check Licensing, BBB or Corp Lic.

I have followed the Bigger Pockets podcast for years, especially when I first got my real estate license and got my first deals under my belt in 2021.

And you definitely do not need a license to be an investor.
