BP definitely helps but like any other form of advanced investing it requires a certain knowledge, comfort with numbers, fortitude and desire to take on potential problems.

While staying in is the best choice for some people, I think that the kind of man that has taken the initiative to become a student of REI and buy multiple investment properties while still serving should do just fine in the "real world".I say... form a plan based on thorough research and solid data, utilize that intestinal fortitude you've built up over the years (I've always loved that term and NEVER get to use it these days!

If the fans that don't like the cost of tickets, jersies, etc. had an once of testicular fortitude they would stay at home.

I would agree that intestinal fortitude can be very helpful at times but also that the upside is nice. 

Hey Ying,I want to commend you for sticking to your guns and not settling for unqualified applicants just to get your vacant rental leased as that takes a lot of fortitude, but is typically the right decision.

Also, I am not sure that I would have developed the fortitude or desire to strike out on my own as an entrepreneur WITHOUT my liberal arts degree. 

Now you might say well I'd be happy with 2 or 3 really good deals in a year, but I wonder if you will have the intestinal fortitude to consistently and persistently continue your 1 or 2 marketing strategies for up to 10 months before you even get a deal from them.

That is how I have beaten lower all cash offers (of course, it takes a bit of intestinal fortitude, confidence you're going to get the loan and/or a willingness to risk earnest).
