Has anyone either upgraded their own cabin(s) or ran the numbers on the costs to improve a ~500 - 700 SF cabin with insulation, sheetrock and heat so they can be rented year round?

I've had kids tell me their heat is not working and they never turn on the thermostat, etc, etc.

There's an ongoing (and often heated) debate as to whether LLCs are necessary for investors.

You may get a tenant that in the heat of the moment leaves a review that doesn't represent the true accuracy of the business.

I've had trouble with LVP (and Bamboo) flooring over wood floors with staple up subfloor heating.   

After giving some grace, I had to turn the heat back up on them to force them to make the donation.They made the donation on a credit card, and while it's a far cry from the $50k+ in damages, it was a meaningful amount of money to them.

Tenants pay heat, electric.

Running water and Heat.

Does one include heat and water versus the other that is separately metered?  

Outside of heating issues, I don’t expect much.
