I would avoid being anything but business-focused as it's amazing how many tenants perceive friendliness as weakness and will attempt to push the boundaries with 'the new guy.' 

Also, it seems like the eviction process is rather lengthy, how would you rate Chicago's landlord friendliness?

We are based in Chicago but incorporated in Wyoming due to the friendliness of WY for corporations and plan on building a massive business.If you are planning on opening an LLC I am not sure of the specific advantage to opening it in WY though.
