I don't think I could justify custom cabinets for a $1500 rental. 

@Ryan Vienneau I'm a Buildium customer too, and it blows my mind they don't have credit card tracking in 2017.

I would have to get with the property manager and mimic the exact plans they have set up in the lease, all of which were probably customized by the PM to get a few extra dollars.  

You're running a business and businesses choose what payment methods are acceptable to them - not the customer. 

Expect a custom ADU to take 9–18 months, with 3–6 months for design and permitting and 6–12 months for construction, depending on complexity and contractor availability, and the speed of processing permits.

Did the customer doors also. 

I will assume positive intent here that this is not the experience you intend for your customers.

It’s humiliating to call customer service who has no idea what is going on and can’t quite transfer you to property manager.

Private lenders often offer more creative solutions, like interest-only payments or custom timelines, which can be a game-changer if you’re working on a unique project.

My tenants are decent people and I let them know that I hate these kinds of conversations and if other people are complaining then clearly there is a pattern here that is wrong on their end.
