You screen LTR for their financials, eviction, and criminal history. 

Such behavior is unacceptable and should be called out.

Much of the behavior we see stems from a lack of education or awareness.

Their character, their payment record, how well they take care of you property, etc all these things are for you to discover with your tenants and build trust between each other. 2. when it comes to screening, you must check their credit, their paystubs, their employer and landlord references, their criminal background, I also get a copy of everyone's photo ID.3.

The key lesson is that if you rent to Section 8 tenants, their negative behaviors may result in non-Section 8 tenants to leave.Rent increases are more likely tied to the minimum wage.
