To add to what was mentioned, I would look at the maintenance history of the property to see what repairs have been made that are more capital in nature (say, new counter tops or kitchen) versus an ongoing issue (plumbing backing up every few months).How is the insurance search going for you as well.

I think it was @Mike H. who said that you'll get more interest if you pick one or two things in the house and over improve them (aka granite counter top in one of the bathrooms, etc...) so that it makes the property stand out from just all of the other plain properties.Also, being in the Baltimore area really is a challenge.
