Should you pick a property manager based on price or service?
17 January 2025 | 23 replies
@Deirdre Lizio see a lot of competiting PMCs start with a pledge of doing it better than "what's out there".Always interesting to revisit them 3-5 years later - after they've experienced the reality of challenging tenants AND owners.Look no further than Evernest: they started out with flat fee management at $99/month and promises of better & fairer service & pricing. Now they're at 10%, capped at $199/month - wonder what changed?

Would you recommend buying an investment property in Austin area now
2 January 2025 | 13 replies
@Rishika Garimella I am a local home inspector and investor in the area. i think Austin is a sleeping giant right now. the rates are really scaring away buyers. but since competition is so low right now, its a great time to snag some property while its not being ripped apart by investors. i think the hutto manor area is a great choice, once that freeway opens up that connects taylor to round rock, it will definitely become a point of interest.

The truth is that New Jersey, especially Northern New Jersey, is a tough investment market due to low inventory, high competition, and high taxes.
