I’m currently torn between two different strategies for house hacking in the Miami areaOption A) getting a small multi family in areas of Miami closer to where I work that are transitioning neighborhoods (allapattah, Little Havana, overtan, Buena Vista) for somewhere around 250-400kOption B) getting a larger house by Miami Beach for 500-600KI qualify for a VA loan with both two but I’m currently weighing the costs and benefits.

Apparently, the small remaining 2% did not have the means or have the career success to partake in the 'white-flight' to neighboring Buena Park, Irvine, etc and are barely hanging on by a thread and just relying on the low cost of living from Prop 13.
