Messy does not equal damaged, as a clean freak I had to learn that after our first couple renters and just breathe deep and let it go.Our "Thing" is little amenities (Snacks and bottled water and a personal note on the counter for them when they arrive) and Absolutely Spotlessly Clean on arrival. 

A token offering like a bottle of whiskey or wine is usually appreciated.

The house just has a couple couches and empty liquor bottles to trash out as far as I know.

Sometimes a person or persons unknown spills the entire bottle of Downy on the control panel and it leaks inside the dryer and corrodes the board, which causes it to go nuts. 

I actually had a bottle of Green Apple Beer years ago...it was kind of a Hard Cider/Amber Ale tasting craft beer. 

The other 2 units have couple of houses on the same block that are boarded up, liquor bottles in the front yard and graffiti painted on the front of the house.

I have one place with an endless ant problem, the last time I turned it over the ants ate an entire bottle of Terro to no effect. 

I have been in a lot of rentals and I have NEVER seen anyone have more than a few bottles.A class maybe .. other wise wine is for owner occs that are into wine.My partner was dead wrong he thought people would still go to dinner and buy 60 to 100 dollar bottles in the down turn that did not happen... and as stated the wines that sold were the cheapest wines..

Spray bottles might not work it might need to soak down in there with that ammonia.

FisherYou will need a bottle of Advil (and vodka) to get through this one, but if you manage to get 1/4 of it, you're going to know more than a lot of folks.
