After a discussion one night with some alcohol involved between two people that had no idea how to invest in RE, we decided we'd invest in real estate.

The original roommate has caused much disruption here, between her alcoholism and related violent outbursts, to her drug use and threats, including calling the local police multiple times for a variety ridiculous things, all of which is documented, and more than once was told by the police she was becoming a habitual caller and a nuisance, then threatened with arrest.

The only place I wouldn't support everyone having a firearm is in alcohol serving establishments.

It is a dry house, which means no alcohol or drugs are allowed in the house.

I never went to college.. my mother was an alcoholic and I pretty much raised myself..literally.. we barely had a meal on the table every night let alone ever sat down to think about going to or applying to college.. at 21 i started a house cleaning business which is very successful..

Bad choices all around; my father was an alcoholic who eventually died in a nursing home from end stage liver disease with his brain totally pickled from this disease.Gail

But maybe in not so obvious ways:  high property taxes (in certain cities), high F&E tax (for businesses), and high alcohol taxes to name a few.  

Once they leave the military and turn into alcoholics, let them pay for their own benefits.Get rid of public education.
