I reckon it's been OBVIOUS that those saying it's illegal are talking about the taboo practice (in Ohio) of MARKETING properties for sale, BEFORE owning them (even if they're going to own them before double-closing to someone else), unless having an RE License. 

For some reason I keep having these feelings of taboo anytime the thought of having to ask people for money.

The ceiling in the bathroom was full of meth residue and there was smoking and cooking paraphernalia and sex toys and porn mags all over the house. 

I am not advocating no zoning; for instance, we would not want a battery factory or porn shop next to a preschool, but we are far over regulated when it comes to land use.

They don't have a clue - just a real estate porn version of how it works. 

As if purchasing something outside that is taboo for investment purposes.  

Or this simply a taboo topic because we're all supposed to be talking about growing/bigger/faster?

If discussing wealth is a taboo topic for you, you need to look into yourself and ask why.

It is tabooed here since 2018.

I don't understand why there is such taboo around talking candidly about money and finances.
