If you are reckless or dishonest with your decisions, a good attorney will attempt to hold you personally liable.  

I've dealt with a few Realtors and never had a bad experience and never felt they were dishonest in any way.  

It's amazing what dishonest people will do.To the original poster.  

It does not matter what business someone is in: they are either honest and act with integrity, or they are dishonest.

The problem is I don't believe in being dishonest or not even giving full disclosure.

I went through some ill equipped contractors, some dishonest subs who took the money and ran, and stumbled through a 70k full gut not knowing anything about construction while working a full time job.This project took me a year to complete and i learned so much about the business.

WOW, Thanks for sharing that Article Don, This should shed some light on having dishonest business practices, License or no license. 

I am reminded that real estate is full of people that are dishonest and why I never got into that full time eventhough I had an active broker license for about 30 years.

Everything else puts the PM incentives out of alignment with yours.If it seems too good to be true, it probably is ... if you can't understand with their fee structure how they are making a living honestly, then they will probably be trying to make their money dishonestly and/or not staying in business ... neither of which is good for you.Know the local laws.
