good idea - we will do so and see if anything comes up that we didn't discuss during our build.back in the day when the tests were done, nothing was apparent from the engineers or tests themselves that indicated we couldn't build. i'm not sure what anybody else would find (if anything).we are suspecting that most buyers thus far may think "wow, this sh*t just got real" when they see the reports and have a minor panic attack and back out. i'm trying see how i'd feel in their shoes. it's surprising how many folks do not research the ins and outs of the home building process before making an offer...

I think Rob outlines a pretty good plan of attack, and typically you will triage a property.  

They will keep attacking until they get to there finish-line, OR until they move the finish-line. 

Worse, I had virtually no money, no equity, and a wife who almost had a heart attack at the prospect of me leaving a job that helped us a lot but that I hated with a passion. 

Seems the best options are going to be aggressively attack my principle to increase equity so that i can open up a HELOC to put a down payment on another home (a way better deal) in order to rent it out and use the passive income to add to my paying down my mortgage before doing a rate-term refinance to prepare my home to cash flow when I’m ready to rent it out. 

Their discrimination wasn't just a personal affront; it was an attack on the inclusive values we stood for.

Let the opinions fly, but when you start attacking someone for their knowledgable opinion, expect the same!
