Sounds Like you have the operational experience to turn the place around and make it a winner. 

That drive is what sets apart winners in this game. 

But even to this day the money is always the winner not me.. thats how you raise significant capital ..

I don't doubt that guys like me and you will succeed over a long enough time frame due to drive, ability to go do it, and determination, but the timeline shifts drastically due to the momentum killing L's we took early in our career.This is why it's hard to compare yourselves to the real estate winners of the past decade.

The house itself sounds like a winner - you've got 340 in the house, it sounds like (315 you paid plus 25k of your own cash) and you got an appraisal at 515 - that's 175k of forced appreciation.

Can the county supervisors undo the sale?  Seems like a similar thing happened in San Francisco 5-6 years ago.  I followed that case closely at the time.  They did undo that sale.  Not sure the final outcome, but I'm ...
