I thought this response was sensational!

So much sensationalism in the news and on here and social media about it, but from reading the actual settlement, it doesn’t do much to lower transaction costs and definitely does not lower property prices (supply and demand controls pricing, interest rates/available credit, inventory, the broader economy, jobs etc. not real estate agents). 

Indeed, we know that the probability that something happens to us is tiny and we won't let the media scare us.Generally I personally strive to have a balanced attitude between not falling for media sensationalism, putting things in context and looking at facts and figures while not ignoring potential problems.Hope this helps.

STR PM in FL here - I think media sensationalism has contributed to your bias about fear of hurricanes. 

Not a YouTube sensation but if you bring in more money than you spend eventually you will have down payment money.

I always try to go almost over-the-top on powder rooms, because you only need a vanity/sink and wallcovering for a tiny space to make it sensational and memorable. 

I've experienced this sensation in meeting with a few sub-contractors, and I walked away no questions asked.

Ive read the 8 chapter beginners guide, talked to few individuals and watched some videos, and of course the youtube sensations without naming names.  

While I agree that under certain circumstances this may be true, paying cash for a property can have major advantages in time sensative deals.
